Slagel, a freshman from Dubuque, played a hand in three event wins in a Luther 146-97 dual win at Augustana (Ill.) Jan. 12. She won the 100 backstroke (58.56) and swam on Luther's winning 200 medley (1:54.82) and 200 freestyle (1:45.03) relays to help Luther remain undefeated in dual competition (5-0).
