The Pugsley "World Championships" is set for Saturday, Feb. 23 in Decorah.

The free registration begins on the day of the race from 9-10:30 a.m. at the Decorah Elks Lodge (402 W. Main St.). The race begins at 11 a.m.

The course includes 25 miles of gravel, off-road trail and whatever else the weather allows.

The rules are the same as previous years. Participants can ride whatever bike they want; however, only Fat-Bikes are eligible to win.

Cash prizes totaling $1,000 will be awarded to the top three place male and female finishers. The championship axe will also be on the line.

The race celebration will also be held at the Elks Lodge, with the awards being presented at 5:30 p.m.
