In the final meet before the conference meet, the South Winn boys track team won the New Hampton Invite, posting 132.5 points. New Hampton and Charles City tied for second with 119 points.
South Winn had seven events finish first. Jared Schroeder won the 100-meter dash in 11.70 seconds while Ben Meyer was the 800-meter champion in 2:05.12. Nathan Meyer claimed the 1,600 in 4:58.12. Chris Brincks tied the school high jump record for a second time, clearing 6 feet 4 inches.
The 4x100 and 4x200 of Schroeder, Treyton Jacobsen, Alex Shatek and Jordan Rommes won both events in 45.54 and 1:34.95, respectively.
Nathan Ward, Brincks, Mitch Herold and Garrett Bohach won the distance medley relay in 3:56.50.

The Warriors are at the Upper Iowa Conference meet today, Thrusday, May 8, at 3:30 p.m. in Monona.
