Using their speed and depth, the South Winn boys basketball team (3-1, 3-0 UIC) easily handled Clayton Ridge (2-3, 2-1 UIC) 61-39 Friday night at home.

The Warriors scored 19 points in the first quarter but led just 19-13. The defense took over in the second quarter, allowing just six points in the next eight-minute frame as the Warriors led 32-19 at the halftime break.

The Eagles outscored the home team 16-15 in the third to cut the lead to 12, but a 14-4 advantage in the fourth gave the Warriors the easy win.
