The South Winn softball team (6-8, 5-5 UIC) split a two-game set with MFL Monday night in Monona.

In the first game, the Warriors fell behind 2-0 after the first inning but came back to win 6-2.

Sophomore Bayley Monroe was the winning pitcher.

Offensively, Jenn Panos went 2-for-3 with two RBIs.

In the second game, the Warriors lost 4-8. Brittany Shindelar was the losing pitcher.

The Warriors go to Lansing for a conference double header with Kee, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Saturday they go to the Denver Tournament, beginning at 10 a.m. Monday they host Valley at 5:30 p.m.
