It was a high-scoring Upper Iowa Conference match Friday; however, the South Winn girls basketball team (5-5, 4-3 UIC) couldn't outscore the Vikings of Edgewood-Colesburg (6-4, 6-0 UIC), falling 64-68 at home.

Saturday's game with North Fayette Valley was postponed.

The Warriors fell behind early, 7-14, at the end of the first. That lead was trimmed in the second as the Warriors cut the advantage to 24-26. The Vikings came back in the third quarter to increase the lead to six at 48-42. The Warriors scored 22 points in the final frame, but the Vikings put up 20 to get the win.
