The South Winn girls basketball team (10-6, 9-4 UIC) came out with two victories to start the week, knocking off Starmont Monday and West Central Tuesday.

Slow game

Monday the Warriors took care of Starmont (3-13, 2-6 UIC) 46-37 on the road.

Abby Phillips led the team with 10 points. Kennidee DeVilbiss chipped in eight while Payton Poshusta had seven.

"We have more girls scoring but do need to be getting more points on the board as we get ready for the postseason," said Coach Sherry Poshusta.
