Warriors improve to 6-4 in UIC

The South Winn girls basketball team (7-6, 6-4 UIC) picked up two conference wins this week.

Friday was a low scoring affair, but the Warriors came out on top, defeating Postville (1-11, 0-6 UIC) 33-26 on the road.
South Winn took an 11-5 lead after the first quarter. Just 10 points were scored in the second, but South Winn extended the lead to 17-9. They added three more to their cushion in the third.
Brittany Shindelar had the hot hand with 11 points, along with six rebounds. Payton Poshusta poured in six, with five boards and three assists. Micole Lansing had five points, six assists and three steals.
