The South Winn boys and girls track team had another solid effort Friday in the second day of the state track meet.
In the field events, senior Chris Brincks came in 11th with a best of 6 feet, 2 inches. Teammate Jordan Rommes tied for 16th with a jump of 6 feet. Carson Lensing threw 139 feet, 7 inches in the discus, placing 15th.
Jared Schroeder, Treyton Jacobsen, Alex Shatek and Jordan Rommes competed as a quartet twice. In the 4x200, they finished 14th in 1:33.33. They placed 13th in the 4x100 in 44.39 seconds.
Two hurdlers competed. Chris Brincks came in 20th in the 110-meter highs in 16.25 seconds. In 16.62 seconds, Lexie Warth placed 16th in the 100-meter hurdles.
The distance medley earned one point for the Warrior boys. Jared Schoreder, Alex Shatek, Ben Meyer and Devin Franzen came in eighth in 3:36.43.
