A day later than originally planned, the South Winn wrestling team traveled to Sumner to take Sumner-Fred and North Fayette Valley Friday.

The Warriors fell to the TigerHawks 27-47. Results against the Cougars weren't available as of press time.

The Warriors won five matches against the TigerHawks. At 106, Cody Fisher pinned Jason Bradley in 1:33. The Warriors didn't pick up another win until 152, when Ben Meyer grabbed an 8-4 decision over Jesse Mackey.

South Winn's ranked three grapplers also were victorious. Class 1A No. 7 Ryan Hageman (170) pinned Kelvin Guyer in 4:00. Class 1A No. 8 Landers Kuboushek threw Colton Caldwell in 50 seconds at 182 pounds. Chris Brincks, ranked No. 4 in Class 1A at 195 pounds, pinned Nashua-Lansing in 1:12.
