The season came to an end in the first round of the Class 2A regional volleyball tournament as the South Winn volleyball team fell to Class 2A No. 3 Sumner-Fred 0-3 Tuesday in Sumner.

The Warriors end the season 16-17 overall. Sumner-Fred (34-3) advances to the second round to face MFL (0-24) Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 7 p.m. in Sumner.

In the first round, the Warriors fell by game scores of 20-25, 5-25, 9-25. As a team they had 19 kills, 73 attack attempts, 18 assists, 23 digs and served 33-for-37 with an ace.
