Splitting up, the South Winn girls and boys golf teams continued to light up the courses Monday.
The girls faced MFL and Postville at Silver Springs Golf and Country Club in Ossian. The Warriors fired a 198 to lead the way. MFL was second with a 235 and Postville third at 242.
Megan Hageman earned the medal spot with a 47 while teammate Caitlin Holien was the runner-up at 48. Also playing for the Warriors were Megan Bushman, 51; Megan Elsbernd, 52; Bailey Timp, 56; and Skyler Luzum, 59.
“It was nice to have two scores in the 40s and two in the low 50s,” said Co-Coaches Doug Schweinefus and Paul Jungblut. “The big four showed their consistency and look to have all four in the 40s. The girls are showing improvements.”
