The offensive woes continued to plague the Decorah girls basketball team (2-5, 0-1 NEIC) as the Vikings fell on the road to Cedar Falls (3-3) 61-39 Saturday.

The Vikings scored eight points in the first quarter and trailed 8-11. Moving to the second, the Cedar Falls offense took off, scoring 10 points in the first two minutes and 26 overall to lead 37-17 at the half.

Decorah scored just six points in the third quarter, allowing the home team to extend the lead to 49-23.

Decorah was led by Taylor Schuring, who had nine points. Tess Olinger, Kaitlyn Kregel and Sondra Zidlicky all had eight points.
