It was an exciting night Tuesday for the Decorah volleyball team (5-9, 2-2 NEIC) as the Vikes defeated New Hampton (15-5, 1-2 NEIC) 3-1 (28-26, 23-25, 25-22, 25-20).

The Vikes had 47 kills, 138 attack attempts, 40 assists, 42 digs, 19 blocks and served 94-for-100 with 10 aces.

Individually, Riley Hubka served 29-for-29 with two aces, along with 10 digs. Alexis Hove served 16-for-16 with 10 digs. Kaitlyn Kregel had three solo blocks and four block assists, along with 11 kills. Jaci Zidlicky had four solo blocks and three block assists. Maria Hoyme had 19 assists while Teeya Hovden had 15. Kassie Hoyme made 12 kills while Tess Olinger also had 12.
