With two games in two days, the Decorah boys basketball team (5-2, 3-1 NEIC) split its two contests, winning a nonconference tilt and losing to New Hampton.

Chickasaws win

Friday the Vikings got back into conference action, falling to New Hampton 61-48.

"We struggled at times at both ends of the floor, and credit New Hampton, they made plays when then had to," said Coach Jonathan Carlson. "To our credit, we continued to battle and will go back to work to fine tune our areas we need to improve upon."

Decorah led 13-11 at the end of the first, but fell behind in the second 26-29. New Hampton pulled away in the third and extended the lead in the fourth.
