Scoring 20 points in one quarter and 17 in another, the Turkey Valley girls basketball team (2-2, 2-1) grabbed its second win in two nights, defeating Postville 46-30 Saturday at home.

The Trojans started the game by limiting the Pirates to just three points in the first eight minutes. That allowed the Trojans to build an 8-3 lead.

In the second frame, TV added 17 points to extend the lead to 25-14 at the halftime break. The offense was on fire to come out of the locker room, scoring 20 points in the third to make it 45-26. Although the Trojans added just one point in the fourth, they held on.
