It was another victory for the Turkey Valley volleyball team (14-9, 3-2 UIC) Tuesday night as the Trojans knocked off Central (6-13, 2-3 UIC) 3-0 at home.

Scores were 25-15, 25-21, 25-19.

The Trojans had 36 kills, 87 attack attempts, 33 assists, 31 digs, 11 total blocks and served 67-for-72 with seven aces.

Ashley Kurash served 18-for-19 with two aces and 15 assists. Arianna Rausch served 16-for-17 with four aces and 10 digs. Kayla Schaufenbuel provided 12 kills, 20 attack attempts and four total blocks. Allison Kuennen had three total blocks, eight kills and 19 attack attempts. Kennedy Balk served 10-for-10. Taylor Novotny contributed 12 assists, seven kills and 13 attack attempts.

"Tonight's game was a slow paced game. Not much excitement in the air, but the girls did what they needed to do to get the game won," said Coach Tammy Vrzak.
