After falling behind by 12 points Saturday, the Turkey Valley boys basketball team (1-1, 1-1 UIC) came from behind to get a big win against Postville Saturday.

The Trojans won 49-48.

Things couldn't have started off worse for the Trojans.

"We started off with no energy and careless turnovers, and we were trailing 16-4 after one quarter. In the second quarter, we got to the foul line a bunch of times, and this helped us get back in the game," said Coach Chris Sullivan. "We switched our defense up in this quarter, and the kids started playing with a lot more energy and caused Postville to turn the ball over a lot."

At the half, the Trojans led 25-20. The Pirates came back in the third quarter, tying it at 37-all.

"The second half began with both teams going back and forth, and it was tied at the end of the third quarter. The fourth quarter was a lot like the third, and it came down to the last seconds," said Sullivan.
