Trojans fall to league leader Kee High

Battling the top team in the conference Monday, the Turkey Valley baseball team (13-14, 8-6, UIC) fell twice in New Albin to Kee High (25-8, 14-2).

A tough first inning overpowered the Trojans against Kee in the first game as TV lost 0-10.
Lansing scored five times in the first inning to put the game away.
As a team the Trojans had just two hits. Riley Meirick had a single, as did Kyle Reicks. Reicks also had a stolen base.
In four innings, Ryan Busta allowed 12 hits and eight earned runs.
"We had troubles getting out of the first inning, but we played alright after that," said Coach Dan Stepan.
