Playing in front of the home crowd Tuesday night, the Turkey Valley volleyball team (6-3, 2-0 UIC) knocked off Clayton Ridge 3-0 (25-21, 25-23, 25-13).

In total the Trojans had 27 kills, 91 attack attempts, 22 assists, 33 digs, six blocks and served 71-for-73 with nine aces.

Taylor Novotny served 16-for-16, with eight assists and seven digs. Ari Rausch served 15-for-16 with three aces and 12 digs. Ashley Kurash went 14-for-14 with three aces, eight assists and seven digs. Allison Kuennen and Kayla Schaufenbuel each were a part of two blocks. Johanna Blazek and Schaufenbuel both had eight kills.

"The girls played well as always. Our serving was around 98 percent," said Coach Tammy Vrzak.
