It was a busy course Tuesday night in Jesup as over 20 teams competed at the Jesup cross country invite.

In the boys race, Turkey Valley, ranked No. 7 in Class 1A, finished third overall with 130 points. Class 3A No. 7 Center Point-Urbana won the team title with 64 points.

The TV girls had just one harrier in the varsity meet. Class 1A No. 4 Central was the champion.

The champion for the boys was Class 3A No. 4 Josh Yeager of Center Point-Urbana. The junior posted a time of 16:49, with a pace time of 5:25. Turkey Valley was led by Class 1A No. 20 Ryan Izer. The junior posted a time of 17:57, good for eighth overall out of 165 runners. His average mile was 5:47. Steven Landa took 16th overall. His time was 18:36. Nathan Suell clocked in at 18:39, good for 18th overall.
