The Turkey Valley trap shooting team kicked off the season over the weekend at the South Winn Invite at New Hampton.

Cole Langreck received a fourth place medal after a three-person shoot off. He had a score of 48.

Scores against South Winn for team one were Langreck, 48; Austin Vrzak, 36; Erika Cutsforth, 35; L.J. Balk, 33; and Jacob Vsetecka, 32; for a total of 187. Team two scores were Franz Ejskjaer, 42; Riley Brincks, 42; Levi Klimesh, 41; Dustin Wenthold, 38; and Kody Reicks, 34; for a total of 197. Team three scores were Thomas Hansen, 33; and Andrea Baumler, 30.

The Trojans also battled New Hampton. Team one scores were Balk, 38; Vrzak, 37; Langreck, 31; Cutsforth, 31; and Vsetecka, 20; for a 157. Team two scores were Klimesh, 39; Wenthold, 38; Ejskjaer, 36; Brincks, 34; and Reicks, 29; for a total of 176. Team three scores were Haugen, 22; and Baumler, 18.
