It was a battle of pitchers in the first game in Lansing, with the home team winning 2-1 in eight innings.
Kee High struck the first blow, scoring a run in the second inning. The 1-0 lead held all the way to the six inning, when senior Allie Njus blasted a solo home run to tie the game.
Heading into extra innings, the Hawks scored in the bottom of the eighth to win the game.
TV had just one hit - Njus' solo home run. Johanna Blazek and Kirsten Huinker both stole a base.
Sara Fischer suffered the tough loss. She threw all eight innings, allowing seven hits and two earned runs.
