Taking fourth overall, the Turkey Valley boys track team had a good night Tuesday, competing at Charles City.
The field was divided into two divisions. The Trojans earned fourth in the gray section, securing 83 points. Saint Ansgar led the way with 183 points.
Junior Ryan Izer claimed the only gold medals for the Trojans. He was the only runner under five minutes in the 1,600-meter run, taking first in 4:55.36. He also broke the tape in the 3,200-meter run, clocking in at 10:27.14. He won the event by over 13 seconds.
Three events came in second. Steven Landa took the silver in the 800-meter run. The senior had a time of 2:14.27.
