An early deficit proved too much for the Trojans to overcome as the Turkey Valley girls basketball team (10-7, 9-4 UIC) fell at home to Kee High (7-5, 6-4 UIC) 55-49.

The Trojans gave up 29 points in the first eight minutes to go down 29-14. It was a major offensive slump for both teams in the second frame as they scored a combined five points. At the half, it was 31-17 Kee.

The Trojans cut into the lead in the third, outscoring the Hawks 12-9 to make it 40-29. Although they again outscored the Hawks in the fourth, it wasn't enough to overcome the large lead.

The Trojans were led by Chloe Reicks, who had 18 points, along with five rebounds. Sadie Nymeyer was next with eight points. Shelby Reicks had seven points while Johanna Blazek had five assists and four steals.
