Fast-break opportunities by the Cadets proved to be the deciding factor Tuesday night as the Decorah girls basketball team (3-14, 1-8 NEIC) fell at home to Crestwood (16-2, 9-2 NEIC) 32-62.

Decorah was outscored 12-34 in the second half.

The first half was an exciting ball game. Decorah took a 5-2 lead before the Cadets got things going, breaking the full-court press and finding the open player for lay-ups. At the end of the first, it was 15-13 Cadets.
