Before the rain clouds unleashed Monday night, the Class 2A No. 8 South Winn (11-0, 5-0 UIC) and Turkey Valley (9-5, 5-2 UIC) baseball teams completed one game of a double header in Calmar.
The second game has been moved to Tuesday, July 8, when it will be a JV/varsity double header.
The first contest was all South Winn, with the Warriors winning 15-0.
South Winn scored nine times in the first inning, taking advantage of five singles, a home run, two errors and a walk.
The home team added two more runs in the second when the first two batters reached on walks. They added a run in the third and three in the fourth to end the game early.
