With a stellar night by several Warriors, the South Winn boys basketball team (2-2, 2-1 UIC) got back to winning in the Upper Iowa Conference Tuesday, defeating Kee (2-2, 1-2 UIC) 80-62.
The Warriors came out firing in the first half. They scored 27 in the first quarter to take a 27-18 lead. In the second, they added another 21 to go into the locker room ahead 48-35.
It was a solid second half as the Warriors scored 32 points to outscore Kee by five.
The Warriors were led in scoring by junior Trevor Schweinefus. He had 31 points. Isaac Taylor added 14 while Brian Kleppe put up 11. Other individual stats were not available as of press time.
