The South Winn girls basketball team (2-2, 2-1 UIC) righted the ship Tuesday by defeating West Central (1-4, 0-3 UIC) 57-12 on the road.

The Warrior defense told the story of the game as it allowed just 12 total points, all in the first half.

Brittany Shindelar led the way for the Warriors with 19 points. Payton Poshusta posted 11 points. Kennidee DeVilbiss and Micole Lansing each contributed six points in the victory.

Becca Franzen added five points. Megan Elsbernd, Jordan Poshusta, Abby Phillips, Monica Schwarzhoff and Joclyn Bushman all put up two points in the victory.
