The South Winn and Turkey Valley trap shooting teams completed a successful season over the weekend at the 2014 Iowa State Trap Championships in Waterloo.

Warrior highlights
The South Winn team of Ben Klimesh, Josiah Baker, Trey Baures, Dallas Bohr and Joseph Buchheit shot a 470 out of 500 to earn fourth in the state out of 232 squads. Individual results were Klimesh, 89; Baker, 93; Baures, 93; Bohr, 94; and Buchheit, 89.
In addition, Nicole Kuboushek finished fifth in the E league with a 90 and was fourth in the all-state.

Solid TV results
The Trojans red team finished 21st overall with a team score of 452. Individual scores and individual places include: Cole Langreck, 95, 44th; Jacob Vsetecka, 94, 66th; Leo Balk, 90, 203rd; Levi Klimesh, 87, 322nd; and Brogan Mihm, 86, 350th.
The TV black team shot a 419, good for 81st. Individual scores were: Andrea Baumler, 89, 16th; Amber Barloon, 86, 31st; Nick Njus, 86, 374th; Dakota Rush, 82, 525th; and Kyle Reicks, 76, 751st.
The TV gold team fired a 380 to take 152nd. Scores were: Austin Fischer, 83, 474th; Walker Leibold, 80, 627th; Thomas Hansen, 79, 657th; Robert Swestka, 71, 851st; and Garrison Kruse, 67, 912th.
With a 328 was the Turkey Valley blue team. They finished 202nd. Individual results were: Izaack Best, 83, 485th; Sydney Kuennen, 70, 131st; Emily Luzum, 64, 159th; Kayla Gebel, 56, 196th; and Cassandra Schindler, 55, 202nd.
Individual results include Sloan Huinker, 81st, 62nd; Kandace Engelhardt, 55, 204th; and Blake Kruse, 65, 935th.
