Decorah senior Lowden Rockweiler has been chosen to participate in the 2017 Eastern Iowa All-Star basketball game, set for Wednesday, March 22, at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids.
The event is a girls/boys double-header, with the girls tipping at 6 p.m. and the boys following about 7:30 p.m.
Rockweiler is a 6’3” guard for the Vikes. He averaged 12.7 points per game, hitting 42.9 percent form the field. He pulled down 5.0 rebounds a game, to go with 55 total assists and 20 steals.
Rockweiler will be joined by teammates Joe Smoldt, Gladbrook-Reinbeck; Ethan Wyant, Jesup; Tristen Kautman, MFL; Cole Smith, Vinton-Shellsburg; Max Techau, Cedar Rapids Xavier; Austin Phyfe, Waverly-Shell Rock; Connor Duax, Dubuque Hempstead; Drake Brewster, Cedar Rapids Kennedy; and Max Smith-Drahos, Cedar Rapids Prairie.
The game will be televised on KCRG TV 9.2.
