With nine returning letter winners, two other returning linksters and six newcomers, the Vikings will have a team pushing to be at the top of the conference.
Leading the way is Pierce, who is in his seventh season with the Blue and Red.
The key for the Vikings last season was becoming consistent. They featured six returning letter winners and 13 members overall.
The Vikings worked on lowering their strokes all season long. At the Northeast Iowa Conference meet, the Vikings shot a 496, earning seventh. The Vikes were led by Talia Raddatz, who shot a 118 (59-59).
At the regional meet, the Vikings finished 11th with a 455. Raddatz again produced the low score with a 112.
As a team, the Vikes went 2-30, with the JV going 0-2.
