It was another conference victory for the South Winn girls basketball team (4-3, 4-1 UIC) as the Warriors knocked off Kee (3-3, 2-3 UIC) High 49-36 Tuesday night.

The game was originally scheduled for Monday but was moved to Tuesday due to the weather.

It was a slow start to the game to begin, with both teams scoring seven in the first eight minutes. The Warriors exploded in the second frame, scoring 18 points. They held the Kee Hawks to 10 to make it 25-17 at the half. Both teams put up 11 in the third quarter, to make it 36-28 with eight minutes remaining.
