Decorah senior Bryce Pierce has another honor to add to his long list of high school accomplishments.
Pierce was presented with the 2014 Iowa High School Athletic Directors Association Male Student Athlete Scholarship at their annual convention held Sunday, March 30, in Iowa City.
In addition, Activities Director Adam Riley was named the District High School Athletic Director of the Year for the northeast district, as voted on by his colleagues.

About Pierce
Pierce has a 3.73 grade point average. He’s a member of the National Honor Society, is an academic letter winner, on the fine arts honor roll and the athletic honor roll.
As an athlete, Pierce has found success on every team he’s been a part of. He was a two-time letter winner in football, being named to the academic all-district team twice. He was a first team all-district quarterback last year and was named academic all-state. He was a two-time letter winner in basketball, in addition to being named academic all-district.
