The Decorah boys golf team got two chances on the links to start the week, competing in less than ideal weather conditions both times.

Another win
Keeping the win streak alive, the Decorah varsity boys golf team defeated New Hampton Monday night on the road.
The Viking varsity shot a 156 while New Hampton fashioned a 173.
“I was proud of how our team battled the strong winds and tough weather to shoot such a fine team score,” said Coach Rich Gaard.
Medalist of the meet was DHS senior Bryce Pierce, who shot a one-under-par of 35. Medalist runner-up went to Reese Drenth with a 38. Sam Sacquitne came through with a 39, Matt Schissel a 44, Derek Weis a 46 and Reid Drenth a 48.
