Several Luther College men’s golf team members were honored with postseason accolades.

All-America Scholars
Seniors Joel Bruns, Tobias Kohl and Andrew Peter were named 2014 Division III Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholars by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).
To be eligible for Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar status, an individual must be a junior or senior academically and competed in at least two full years at the collegiate level, participated in 70-percent of his teams competitive rounds or compete in the NCAA championship, have a stroke average of 79.0 or lower in Division III and maintain a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.2 or higher. Central Regional
In addition, Kohl and Peter were named to the 2014 Division III Ping All-Central Region Team by the GCAA.
The GCAA and Ping recognized a total of 92 NCAA III student-athletes from six regions. Kohl and Peter were two of 15 golfers named to the All-Central Region squad that included schools from Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Nebraska.
During the 2013-14 campaign, Kohl played 23 rounds and posted a stroke average of 74.3. At the Iowa Conference Championships he finished third, earning all-Iowa Conference honors for a fourth time, becoming the third Luther golfer in school history to accomplish this feat.
Peter played 23 rounds and tallied a stroke average of 74.2. A third team Ping All-American a year ago, Peter became a two-time all-Iowa Conference performer for the Norse placing tenth at the conference championships.
