It was over before it began Friday night in the first game of the season as the Class 1A No. 3 South Winn football team (1-0) crushed Nashua-Plainfield (0-1) 66-13 on the road.

The Warriors scored 32 points in the first 12 minutes and never let Huskies get in a rhythm.

Putting the game away

The scoring started early and often Friday night for the Warriors. Garrett Bohach scored the first points of 2013 when he took the ball into the end zone from 15 yards out. Ryan Hageman completed the drive by scoring on the two-point run, making it 8-0.

The Warriors added another score when Logan Schweinefus rushed in from 8-yards out. Hageman again kept the pigskin on the two-point try to make it 16-0.

The closet Nashua-Plainfield came was when they returned an interception 85 yards for the score. The two-point run failed, making it 16-6.
