It was six more wins for the Class 2A No. 8 South Winn baseball team (27-1, 14-1) as the Warriors won four conference games and two in a Saturday tournament.

On Wednesday
Wednesday, the Warriors hosted North Fayette Valley (21-12, 11-5 UIC) winning both.
In game one, the Warriors put up two in the first and six in the fifth to win 8-0.
Trevor Schweienfus was the winning pitcher. He gave up just two hits and struck out four.
The home team had 12 hits. Christian Kleve was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Jordan Rommes was 2-for-3 with two runs scored while Tyler Numedahl also had two hits.
“This was one of our more complete games of the season. We were very solid in all three facets of the game,” said Coach Ben Obermann. “This is the type of game we are striving to play night in and night out as we inch closer to district play.”
