It was smooth sailing for the Class 1A No. 4 South Winn football team (5-0, 3-0 district) as the Warriors easily handled Saint Ansgar (3-2, 0-2 district) 58-14 Friday night in Calmar.

The Warriors started the game with a bang when junior Jordan Rommes took the opening kickoff and went 96 yards to the end zone for the score. The Warriors led 52-14 at the half.
