It took a while for the Class 1A No. 3 South Winn football team (2-0) to get going but the offense found its rhythm, defeating Turkey Valley (0-2) 50-6 in Jackson Junction Friday night.

The Warrior defense got things started by stopping the Trojans on their first possession. Once the SW offense got the ball, things clicked, with Christian Kleve scoring on 4th and 1. The two-point try failed, making it 6-0 SW with 7:03 to go in the first quarter.

That was the score at the end of the frame.

SW got its second TD of the game on a Jordan Rommes 76-yard reception from Garrett Bohach with 9:07 to go in the first half.
