The Turkey Valley boys basketball team (1-4, 1-3 UIC) met a white-hot Class 2A No. 10 MFL (4-0, 4-0 UIC) team Tuesday night in Jackson Junction.

In the end, the Bulldogs proved too much for the Trojans, walking away with a 70-24 victory.

It was ugly from the start as the Trojans had just four points in the first quarter. MFL's offense showed how dominant it can be, putting up 22 to build an 18-point lead. It was another 22-point effort in the second frame for MFL. This time the Trojans scored nine to make it 13-44 at the half.

It was too much to overcome in the second half. The Trojans scored just 11 points in the second half.
