It was a cold night on the track for the Decorah boys track team Thursday night in West Delaware.
The Vikings came in third overall with 83 points. Center Point-Urbana won the meet with 135 points.
Decorah won one gold medal. Isaac Luzum was the champion in the 800-meter run. His time was 2:06.49.
Five events came in second. Jake Hovden clocked in at 12.05 in the 100-meter dash. Cole Svestka earned the silver in the 200-meter dash, posting a time of 24 seconds even.
The weightmen posted a solid time in the 4x100. Easton Schmitz, Carter Zidlicky, Ben Dugger and Tim Winter had a time of 51.98 seconds. J. Hovden, Holt Johansen, Jonathan Rahlf and Svestka clocked in at 1:34.66 in the 4x200 relay, good for second. The 4x400 closed the night with a strong performance. Johansen, Collin Nimrod, Aaron Syverson and Svestka went around the track in 3:35.26.
