In a battle between two of the strongest teams in the Upper Iowa Conference, it was North Fayette that came out on top over the South Winn volleyball team Tuesday night in the regional quarterfinals.

The Hawks won 3-1 (27-25, 25-13, 18-25, 25-19).

South Winn ends the year 18-13. North Fayette (12-15) moves on to face Sumner-Fredericksburg Friday in the semifinal.

As a team the Warriors served 68-for-83 with seven aces. They also had 27 assists, 35 digs, one block, 28 kills and 116 attack attempts.
