A 13-for-60 shooting night told the story of the game Friday for the Turkey Valley boys basketball team (1-3, 1-2 UIC) as the Trojans lost to North Fayete (2-4, 2-1 UIC) 55-35 on the road.

The Trojans shot just 22 percent from the field.

The battle started close, with both teams putting up several shots in the first eight minutes. By the end of the first eight minutes, the Trojans trailed 13-10. Turkey Valley managed just six points in the second quarter while the Hawks put up 11 to build the lead to 26-14. The third quarter saw the Trojans score 10 points while the lead stayed just under double digits at 35-26. The Hawks put it away in the fourth.
