Closing out the regular season Thursday, the Turkey Valley boys golf team hosted North Fayette Valley at Jackson Heights.
The boys had one of their best days on the links, posting a 168. The TigerHawks won the day with a 167.
Medalist of the meet was Brady Ney of NFV with a 36. Turkey Valley’s Jacob Hackman was the runner-up by shooting a career-low 39. Riley Meirick had a 42 while Ryan Busta carded a 43 and Tom Reicks a 44 to round out the varsity.
“The boys had their best round of the year. I was very pleased with Jacob’s round as all his hard work is beginning to pay off,” said Coach John Reicks. “While we had some chances to lower our score, I was happy how we competed under some tough conditions against the Class 3A TigerHawks.”
