It was a busy week for the Decorah softball team (11-16, 5-10 NEIC) as the Vikings picked up four wins.

At Waukon
Wednesday the Vikings traveled to Waukon to face the Indians (7-19, 2-11). Decorah won the first game 10-0. The Vikings put up five in the first and five in the fourth to end the game in five innings.
There were nine Decorah hits. Kassie Hoyme had two of them while Shelby Stalberger had two hits and two RBI. Jenna Iverson drove in three and scored two runs.
Annika Vande Krol gave up just five hits.
The second game was a 12-2 victory over Waukon. Up 2-1, Decorah scored five in the fifth and four in the sixth to get some cushion.
Decorah had 12 hits. K. Hoyme was 3-for-4 with two doubles and three runs scored. Maria Hoyme, Riley Hubka and Iverson all had two hits.
Payton Hjerleid threw the final five innings to get the win, giving up just one hit. Vande Krol started the game.
