Postseason golf is just around the corner.
Sites for the boys and girls postseason meets have been announced recently.
All boys compete in sectionals Friday, May 16, with districts Friday, May 23, with the state meet May 30-31.
Decorah boys are in Class 3A. They will compete at Charles City for sectionals at Cedar Ridge. Other teams there are Charles City, Clear Lake, Crestwood, Garner-Hayfield/Ventura, North Fayette Valley, Waukon and Waverly-Shell Rock. Winners will advance to districts at Waverly-Shell Rock. The state meet is at Ames Golf and Countyr Club.
South Winn is in Class 2A. Sectionals are at Waterloo Columbus Catholic Gate Park Golf Course. Teams competing are Clayton Ridge, Columbus Catholic, Denver, Hudson, Jesup, MFL and Sumner-Fredericksburg. Districts will be held at Fox Ridge Golf Course at Dike-New Hartford. State is at Spring Valley Golf Course in Livermore.
Turkey Valley is in Class 1A and will compete at Starmont Backbone Country Club for sectionals. Other teams there include Central, Ed-Co, Postville, Starmont, Tripoli, Wapsie Valley and West Central. Districts will be held at Pheasant Ridge Golf Course, Cedar Falls. State is at Marshalltown at the American Legion Golf Course.
Decorah is in Class 4A and will compete only in a regional final, Tuesday, May 27. Decorah will compete at Waverly Municipal Golf Course, competing against Ballard, Benton, Cedar Rapids Xavier, Charles City, Grinnell, Humboldt, Marion, Vinton-Shellsburg, Waverly-Shell Rock, Webster City and West Delaware.
South Winn is in Class 2A and will compete in the first round regional meet Monday, May 19, with the regional final Tuesday, May 27. The Warriors will compete at Guttenberg Golf and Country Club for the first round of regionals against Bellevue, Clayton Ridge, Jesup, Maquoketa Valley, MFL, Nashua-Plainfield, Cascade and Sumner-Fred. The regional final will be at Fillmore Fairways in Cascade.
Turkey Valley is in Class 1A and will compete in regionals Monday, May 19, and the regional finale Tuesday, May 27. The Trojans will compete at Buffalo Creek Country Club at Winthrop for regionals against Central City, Central, East Buchanan, Ed-Co, Postville, Starmont and West Central. The regional final is at Oak Leaf Country Club at Reinbeck.
The Class 4A state tournament is at Ames Golf and Country Club. Class 2A and Class 1A is at the American Legion Golf Course in Marshalltown. All state meets are held June 2-3.
