Finally getting a chance to get two games in, the Decorah girls soccer team (2-6) hosted Union and Dubuque Hempstead to close the week.
Against Union (5-4) Thursday, Decorah fell 2-6. Union scored four first-half goals. Decorah’s Stef Bjerke got the Vikes on the board at the 27:10 mark in the first half, scoring off an assist by Anja Arend.
With the score 6-1, Decorah’s final goal came from Maddy Bockman, coming off a direct kick at the 38:15 point in the second half.
Decorah had eight shots on goal, with two from Arend and two from Bjerke.
Goalie Olivia Rauk made 19 saves.
