A 22 percent shooting night gave the Turkey Valley girls basketball team (10-9, 9-6 UIC) a loss Tuesday night at home against Sumner-Fredericksburg (16-1, 11-0 UIC), falling 29-43.

The Trojans shot 13-for-60 on their home court.

The first quarter started strong for the Trojans; however, they trailed 18-13 after one. In eight minutes of play in the second quarter, the Trojans scored just one point, heading into halftime down 14-24. They outscored the Cougars by one in the third, 11-10, but scored just four points in the fourth.
