Turnovers and a cold shooting night plagued the Turkey Valley girls basketball team (0-2, 0-1 UIC) Tuesday night as the Trojans fell to Kee 36-38.

"If we struggle from the field and turn the ball over like this, it could be a long season," said Co-Coaches Dan Stepan and Carla Nymeyer. It was a close first quarter, with the Trojans taking a 6-4 lead. However, that turned in the second quarter as Kee outscored the Trojans by five to take a 14-11 advantage. Moving to the third, the Trojans posted 13 points to tie the game at 24-all. However, the Kee Hawks got the edge in the fourth.
